Laboratory of Materials Thermal Analysis

Focus:
The laboratory is used to analyze a wide range of materials in which the change in physical or chemical properties of substances and reaction products is monitored as a function of temperature. In particular, enthalpy, melting, evaporation, sublimation, phase transformations, thermal capacities of solid and liquid substances are evaluated. It is also used to determine the purity of substances, glass temperatures, demagnetisation, phase diagrams and polymorphism studies, oxidation times of solid and liquid substances, for measuring the rate of reactions and phase changes, as well as many other applications. It take into account the needs of primary research as well as the requirements of potential industry partners.
