Laboratory of Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy

Focus:
The laboratory deals with the investigations of topography and microstructure of advanced composite and nanocomposite materials in a wide range of magnifications, working pressures and their local chemical compositions by means of EDS and WDS units built in the microscope. The aim is to provide detail local information on the development of microstructure and chemistry in the developmennt of new metallic and ceramic materials, biomaterials and coatings.
